Ahoy, holidayers and non-holidayers alike. This has been the first year in over a decade of finishing a semester before Christmas. I’ve got three passing grades in and I am very uncertain if the big swing I took on my final research paper in my fourth class is going to make a meaningful point that serves the requirements of the assignment or if I’ve struck out by putting in too much personal background related to the topic and didn’t clarify enough the relevance between my trauma and my aggregated data on religiosity and job satisfaction.
I’m still nervous that my professor in this hardest class, the one who makes the most serious and dense presentations of the material and also has the most demanding projects, will give his signature good-faith feedback on the writing that I spun out in therapeutic rage.
